Visiting Solacium means journeying through a landscape of stone, vineyards, olive groves, and citrus orchards, where every space tells a different story.
Towers Court
The main open space of the estate unfolds in front of the Castle, offering a privileged view of the ancient towers, the rural buildings, and the surrounding landscape.
The white Modica stone paving enhances the monumentality of the complex, creating an ideal, picturesque backdrop for receptions, outdoor dinners, and large festive gatherings.
Memories Court
More intimate and secluded than the estate’s main spaces, the Baglio dei Ricordi preserves a timeless, cozy atmosphere.
The elegant pointed vaults of the porch, the historic paving, and the lush presence of wisteria, palms, and philodendrons create a refined and welcoming backdrop.
It is the ideal setting for a shaded aperitif, a dinner for smaller groups, or for those moments of the event that call for a more gathering, intimate dimension.
A garden built over time
Originally created as an "hortus conclusus" and transformed over time into a garden of contemplation, it shelters monumental trees, Mediterranean plants, and botanical varieties from distant lands.
For decades, it was tended to by Bianca Ciancico Pupillo, who guided its evolution by enriching it with flowers, citrus trees, and exotic plants. Today, it represents one of the most captivating backdrops of the entire property.
Palmento Hall
Heart of indoor events, the Palmento Hall preserves one of the estate's most fascinating historical features: a limestone wine press dating back to the late 17th century.
Spacious, bright, and air-conditioned, the hall can accommodate up to 150 guests and opens onto two of the property's courtyards through five entrances, creating a seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The presence of the ancient winery and the view of the Castle facade lend events an authentic atmosphere, deeply tied to the history of the venue.
Mandarinera Garden
Adjacent to the Romitorio, the Mandarinera Garden represents one of the estate's most authentic spots. An alberello-trained vineyard intermingles with over fifty varieties of rare citrus trees, olive trees, and carob trees, creating a unique Mediterranean landscape that changes color and fragrance throughout the seasons.
Informal and surrounded by greenery, this space is ideal for welcome drinks, outdoor aperitifs, small parties, and relaxing moments, offering guests an experience in direct contact with nature and Solacium's agricultural identity.
